Are you looking for a place where kids can run, explore, work together, and challenge themselves? That’s exactly what Fort Vertier was made for! In this interactive Roman fort, kids go on an adventure in and around the fort—a huge maze with challenges and plenty of space to climb, scramble, and slide.

Equipped with a special interactive wristband, they check in at the checkpoints and complete challenging tasks. Since the wristband tracks their time, it adds an exciting competitive element. It feels like gaming, but without a screen. With three different games across two age levels, they can have a blast for over two hours.

It’s great for parents, too: you don’t have to constantly chase after your kids. From the shaded picnic benches, you have a perfect view of the fort while you enjoy a cup of coffee, a soft drink, or an ice cream from the kiosk. What age group is Fort Vertier suitable for?

Fort Vertier is suitable for children ages 5 to 13. If your child needs assistance, you are welcome to accompany them through the maze.

Can I order catering from you?

At Fort Vertier, you can buy drinks and snacks at the ticket office. These include coffee, tea, various soft drinks, and all kinds of ice cream. Burger King and KFC are also within walking distance.

Do I, as a parent or guardian, also need to buy a ticket?

Yes, parents and guardians pay €3.50 per person. This includes a cup of coffee or tea.

Is Fort Vertier (partially) covered?

The fort itself is outdoors and therefore not covered. However, we do have picnic tables with a canopy around the fort where you can sit dry and sheltered from the sun.

Will the activity still take place if the weather is bad?

Our event can generally go ahead as planned. If extreme weather conditions prevent this, we will contact you. If you haven’t heard from us, we’ll assume you’re coming.

Do I need to make a reservation in advance at Fort Vertier?

Yes, you must make a reservation in advance. We only have a limited number of spots available per time slot.

Is parking free?

Yes, there is plenty of free parking right out front.
