During the school field trip, the children enter a large Roman-style 3D maze. They play various games in and around the fort. They search for routes, climb and scramble, scan their wristbands, and try to reach the right towers.

In the meantime, they need to look closely, make smart choices, and work together. The games are available at different levels, so both younger and older children are challenged. From speed and strategy to treasure hunts and solving Roman riddles: everyone gets their own mission.

While the kids have a blast in and around the fort, you can take a seat at the covered picnic tables. From there, you’ll have a great view of the action without having to keep going into the fort yourself.

The children run, explore, climb, and work together to complete their mission. In between, they stop by for a drink, to discuss their scores, or to excitedly share what they’ve discovered. This keeps the field trip active for the children and easy to manage for the chaperones.

Arrival at Fort Vertier

You will arrive with your class at the agreed-upon time. Free parking is available next to the fort.

How to Play

The children will receive an explanation about the fort, the games, and how to scan their wristbands. Then the mission can begin.

On a mission at the fort

The class will explore the fort and its surroundings. They’ll run, climb, search, look around, and try to reach the right towers.

A break at the picnic tables

Take a quick break, have a drink, and compare scores. Then the students are ready to dive right back into the adventure.

Tattoo and certificate

At the end, every child gets to take home a cool tattoo and a certificate. A great way to wrap up the mission.
