Veluwe Adventure Park for Young Children

Too young for the climbing forest? But old enough for adventure.

Are you looking for a climbing forest for young children in the Veluwe? Then you’re probably looking for an active outing where your child can climb, scramble, and burn off some energy. At Klimbos Harderwijk, children 1.20 meters and taller are allowed to climb. Is your child still a bit too small for that, or do you find heights a bit too scary? Then Fort Vertier is a great alternative.

At Fort Vertier, children play outdoors in and around a large open-air Roman fort. They run, climb, scramble, explore, and scan their wristbands to get the fastest high score. No tall trees, but plenty of activity and adventure.
